Artist Spotlight: Post Malone
Post Malone is performing at 9:30PM on Friday June 23rd, and will be a performance that surely will not disappoint! If you’ve yet to check out Post Malone, he’s best known for his songs Congratulations ft. Quavo, White Iverson, Go Flex, and Too Young.
Tickets: Tickets start at only $80 for a one day pass, or $125 for a 3-day general admission! This is a very reasonable price for some big names during festival season in June! 🙂
Who are you most excited to see this weekend at Port Lands!?
Saturday’s sundown at EA 2017
One week has passed since the closing set of Zeds Dead last Sunday night. The music was loud, the sun was shining, and the artists were insane! Ever After 2017 was seen as a major success this year in my books, and they really brought a lot to the table in terms of providing a properly organized music festival!
- Overall look and feel was improved substantially from previous years
- Artists did not disappoint
- Weather was awesome, no rain
- Security staff was friendly to festival goers (not power tripping)
- Free Midway games and rides (not too bad of lines!)
- Fast drink lines
My recommendations for EA for things to improve on for 2018:
- Put the water fill stations on concrete to avoid creating a muddy mess!
- Stock additional beverages! EA ran out of a lot of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks towards the end of the day
- Allow attendees to preload cash for drink/food purchases
- Serve alcoholic beverages past 9:30pm….!
All that being said, the Ever After organizers did an amazing job this year and seem to have given themselves a better bran image compared to previous years. I’m DEFINITELY looking forward to next year! 🙂
What did you love/hate about Ever After 2017!?
Less than a week away, Ever After Music Festival packs a punch and lets you start your summer off right! Here are some things to know about Ever After 2017, taking place next weekend (June 2nd, 3rd, and 4th) at Bingemins, located in Kitchener, Ontario.
World Class DJ’s: BASSNECTAR, EXCISION, French Montana, Zeds Dead, Sydney Blu, Snails, NGHTMRE, ZOMBOY and many others will be in attendance this coming weekend. Many of these artists rarely make appearances in Canada, so keep that in mind when purchasing tickets! Make sure to support our local talent at the Ontario Stage located near the Midway games area that features local up and coming talent.
The Experience: Ever After is located on the same grounds as a huge waterpark and camp site! Waterpark passes are included with all Ever After tickets, however, camping is optional and can be purchased from the events official website. Unlimited ride access to Midway games are also included in ticket prices!!! Food and artist/event merchandise are located in Vendor Village located beside the Excalibur Stage.
Tickets: Even though the event is less than a week away, there are plenty of tickets for sale, starting at $65 for a single day pass, and starting around $150 for a 3 day general admission pass. These prices are very competitive when comparing them to other major EDM festivals in Ontario!
What are you most excited for at Ever After this week!? Post your comments and questions below!
Good news to those who have recently been affected by either the cancellation of Fyre or Pemberton Music Festival! Although it may suck that you have lost hundreds of dollars from the collapse of both festivals, however Wayhome Music Festival has announced this week that you are eligible for a free 3 day festival ticket if you can provide proof of purchase of a ticket from either Fyre or Pemberton Music Festival.
This is your change not to let your summer go to waste! Wayhome Music Festival is held just outside of Barrie Ontario, and features artists such as Imagine Dragons, Frank Ocean, Flume, Justice, and many more!
Instructions from Wayhome organizers to redeem tickets:
How to redeem: “all 2017 Pemberton Festival ticket holders and 2017 Fyre Festival ticket holders can redeem their ticket for a 2017 WayHome General Admission Ticket by sending a copy of their unique confirmed Pemberton Festival ticket or FYRE Festival ticket to the following address; firstname.lastname@example.org. WayHome will keep this offer open until June 30 and will authenticate all requests. Tickets will be redeemed on a on a one for one basis and do not include camping, parking or VIP offers.”

Take a trip to Toronto’s Echo Beach on Saturday May 27th to catch an all-Canadian music festival hosted by CBC Music! This is a great opportunity to listen to a full day of music and check out several Canadian artists.
Serena Ryder and Walk Off the Earth are the headliners, joined by Keys N Krates, Ruth B, CBC Searchlight Winner, Scott Helman, and many more.
Tickets are only $39.95 plus taxes/fees, and kids 12 and under are FREE! There will be a variety of food truck vendors, and much more taking place during the event.
Being less than two weeks away, EE is Canada’s biggest May 24 party
Looking for an adventure? Electric Elements is a great place to spend your May 24 long weekend (May 20th-21st 2017). Centered in the heart of Wasaga Beach across from the sand on the water, EE is hosted at an excellent location that will let you start your summer with a bang!
Reasonably priced at approximately $125+ fees for a two-day event, you have the chance to see some big names such as Carnage, R3HAB, Knife Party, KSHMR, Borgeous, Will Sparks and many more.
As an all ages event, party goers will range between the ages of 16 to late 20’s for the most part, but those who are of age can opt into the VIP 19+ section that serves alcoholic beverages. There are many cottage and camping accommodations nearby for the weekend to enjoy the weekend with friends.
Tips from experience for EE
- Camping will be crowded
- Try to arrive the night before as camping is a free for all (ex. Sunshine just down the road)
- No designated campsites
- Lots of mud/dust
- Sunshine campgrounds offers an onsite “rave tent” to keep the party going after EE dies down
- Hit or miss weather during this time of year
- Pack a long sleeve in your tote bag to avoid the cold late in the night
- As per photo #1…. That is the lineup outside of the gates to get in
- Show up when you want…. But be prepared to wait in line if you show up in the mid afternoon when the headliners start playing
- Line-bypass available for $35
- Prepare to pay top dollar if you decide to rent a small shack for the weekend
- Cottage and hotel owners are notorious for charging up to 4 times the normal rate for this weekend alone
Party hard and stay safe at EE friends! #TLDRMusicCanada
